Timberon Water & Sanitation District MANAGER’S REPORT FOR AUGUST 17, 2007 1. I just wanted everyone to know that the refreshments provided during the meetings are not from TWSD. They are furnished by Janet Ebbs, Jean Bradshaw and Eva Dysart, and I would like to give the ladies a big “Thanks”! 2. As you are aware, Otero County Road crews are preparing the Sacramento Drive , Merlin Drive and the Air Strip for repaving. They should be through with grading in the next 2 weeks and will start the chip and seal the first week in September. 3. The telephone company has all their conduit buried and started pulling their lines thru it. They will still have people working at the boxes to splice the cable, so watch out for them and drive carefully. 4. For those people that were not here at the last meeting, I would like to inform you that we have our yearly Consumer Confidence Report completed. Our drinking water is clean and healthy. We have not had any violations of inorganic contaminants, radioactive contaminants, synthetic organic contaminants such as pesticides or herbicides, volatile organic contaminants, or additional contaminants, nickel, tetrachloroethylene, para-dichlorobenzene, monochlorobenzene. 5. We don’t have our waterline project approved by the NM Environmental Division yet, but we do have conduit across the road near the Post Office and at Sacramento Drive and Merlin Drive . We have one more line to put in under Sacremento Drive at Pawhuska. We did have the telephone contractor to drill under the river and pull in two 3” lines. 6. The Otero County road crew had to cut down some trees on the right-of-way for the road. From the north entrance of Sacramento to White Marsh Valley going to the Pro Shop and Lounge. If you want any of the Juniper, Cedar or Pine it is yours for the taking. Please do not disturb the road crews. Kenneth Bradshaw District Manager
