TIMBERON DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
Minutes of the Meeting Held May 12, 2012

IN ATTENDANCE:
Everett Putney  Rick Merrick  Shirley Holstrom  John Howell  Bobbie Brown
Joe Mainello  Gwen Adams  Burr Holstrom  Charlie Ross

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM by Everett Putney followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a prayer.

It is noted that Fran Trendler is taking the minutes for Jackie Fioretta.  A motion was made to not read the minutes
from April 2012.  Gwen Adams made the motion, seconded by Burr Holstrom and the motion passed. 

The Treasurer’s Report was presented, a motion was made to accept the report as given by Charlie Ross, seconded 
by Burr Holstrom.   Motion  passed.

A list of bills to be paid was presented.  Motion to pay was made by Gwen Adams with a second by Bobbie Brown.
Motion passed.

Under Old Business, Rick Merrick gave a brief report on the progress of the Blues/BBQ Festival Committee.  
A meeting was held in El Paso with the El Paso Blues Board in attendance.  Rick, Everett and Jackie were also present.  

A great deal of progress and agreement was made toward completion of different aspects of the event.  

Bobbie and Bill Brown are organizing the Fly-In for May 18th, 19th, & the 20th.   An estimate of 8 planes is 
anticipated to participate.  The group will camp overnight at the Redbarn (TDC office) with dinner served Saturday 
and breakfast on Sunday morning.  The community is encouraged to stop down visit with the pilots and look at their 
planes.  Bobbie mentioned that the golf course is open, so we may need some transportation.  Other members of the 
community will help provide food items.

It was noted that the property on Norwood had been sold.  The Council is down to holding two pieces of property 
for sale.  Contact can be made through email:  tdc@dellcity.com.  

A motion was made to adjourn at 11:00 AM by Rick Merrick, with a second from Shirley Holstrom.  All voted Aye.  

Next meeting of the Council will be June 9th, 2012, Timberon Lodge, at 10:00 AM.
